XX Rated

There was something religious last Sunday at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in DC. Cat woman, PJ and I went to see a concert of the XX there. Who are the XX you ask ? Are they butt naked people doing weird things with their instruments ? Almost ! Only what they do with their instruments is true. Take a trio, one can play some aerial guitar riffs, another some silky bass lines, and the last some groovy electronic beats. Add some mysterious female and male vocals: there we go, you have the XX. Now put this young Londoner band in an historic synagogue in the heart of Washington DC. Dim the lights, maybe burn a little bit of incense, bright blinding lights from the stage and let the journey begins... Transported, I was transported. Thank you XX !!!
