Starryville at Art Out Loud, Sat Jul 16, 6PM
We will be performing at the Art Out Loud event at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton this Saturday. Don't miss it, their will be a one time additional member in the band! The artist Mary Gallagher Stout will be painting on stage as we perform: a touch of green on PJ's C minor arpeggios, sparkling blues on Alexes' flights of lyricism, vibrant orange on Dr T's bass slides, and vivid reds on Andy's sizzling cymbals. The result: a masterpiece of Starryville inspired art! Sure you don't want to miss that. Admission is free! Come and help us paint it out LOUD!
Our show starts at 6pm: don't be late!

Starryville Reveals the Secrets of its Legendary Sound
I know we have been kind of silent on the Starryville web site waves lately but we have a good excuse: we are very busy recording our next album. All right, so far only the drums and bass are on tape, but now it's time to record PJ's acoustic guitar. And in order to speed up the process, our master sound engineer, the genius and magic Dr T., have developed a secret technique: he locks PJ in the restroom with his guitar and few microphones, and he only releases him once all the takes sound awesome and pristine. Courage PJ, only 5 songs remaining on the list! And that guitar sounds pretty flavorful in there, we like that!
Stay tuned guys!
Starryville at UMW, Saturday Apr 9
We will be at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA next Saturday, Apr 9. Our show starts at 12:45 pm. It's gonna be so fun to play at a university, that will remind us the good old time when we were young, freewheeling and carefree... Ha nostalgia ! What ? We're still like this !?
Starryville at Public House No.7, Sat Feb 26
Watch the center of the spiral while counting to 30, then look at the poster. You're now under our control...

Come to Public House No.7 Saturday February 26, for a Starryville night !
Too Much Fun for Arlington
Is Arlington too much fun !? Well, that's what some people seem to think. You know Starryville, your favorite band, we play so loud rock'n'roll that we got into trouble while playing at Westover Market last August. I think that's because of the little kids that were dancing in front of us were having too much fun. How decadent !
Sounds from the Cave
All right, you might wonder why the Starryville web site has been so silent this past month: are these people not playing music anymore? Did they leave the country for some warmer latitudes? Did they win the DC lottery so they don't have to play stupid music anymore in bars late at night just to make enough money to pay for the beer tab? Nahnahnah, all wrong! Simply, we have decided a retreat in our preferred practice cave in order to get ready for our next gig which we plan to record on tape. We know, our next gig is a private event, and not all of our numerous fans will be able to attend. But at least if we suck, we can always fudge the recording, no witnesses :)!
